Yes, INA spring in tensioner spring is conical on both ends...I have changed the oil since installing INA. I have driven the car enough to notice that any supposed vacuum leaks that may have caused...

Hey, you all, thanks for the reply. I really hope saving $40 on an INA part doesn't give me a mediocre Chinese spring vs a German spec. tempered one. I already know the answer to that. We will see....

The whole Takata air bag parts deal is a mess. BMW has sent out warnings to have air bags R&R immediately while Takata, the suppler is unable to provide proper replacements nor any other air bag...
