I hand tighten the oil filter cap (and loosen), never had any problems.

Use a top-sider to drain oil, so no worries on the bolt. Next oil change I will drop the pan to check for timing change...

+1, P1357 was my first symptom, looked at the spark plug well to find oil sloshing around. Replaced VCGs to stop the oil leak, and replaced the coil to fix the 1357. Other coils soon followed...
