All BMWs have negative camber, more so in the rear, and the sport chassis has most. If the tires have not been studiously rotated, the rears will wear that way.

No. The remote entry and the engine start security are two separate systems. Remote entry uses a cell; security is passive.

The anti-theft system has to read the chip in the key before allowing to start. There is a ring antenna around the ignition key slot to read the key.
