My 540 was passed to me from my father and he bought it with 30k miles. My radiator cracked at 92k and then I replaced the entire cooling system.

Thanks for the write up. The motor mounts were pretty easy. The trany mounts gave me trouble and I couldn't finish those up just yet. I couldn't get the 13mm bolt loose that's under the exhaust pipe....

Just ordered mine too. I just did a complete cooling overhaul at the beginning of the year and I'd like to keep all those parts going as long as I can.

I'm late to this thread but I'm probably going to get the Meyle mounts. People kill Meyle parts but I've had good luck with them. My front and rear control arms are Meyle and I've had no issues.

I just finished mine and I went with the Bilstein B14 PSS kit. I'm able to adjust the ride height but not the dampering. I enjoy the ride.

I was able to do the job using the clamp from the AutoZone tool and the parts of the BMW tool I got from another member. After jacking the car up and removing the wheels the first thing was removing...
