IMO the biggest concern for engine swap is matching ODBI (92-95) and ODBII (96-99). I've done both the ODBI and ODBII swap and neither are difficult if you do your research. I wouldn't recommend...

If it doesn't start with the valve cover installed, you may be in trouble.

Super charger is about the only way you can go with a 318. Then you still have a 1.9 4cyl.

I prefer the M3 engine MOD I have in mine. Its not exactly a "bolt on" mod, but its close. :thumbup:
