I went thru my rears on my 335i vert in 15k miles. I go thru rears on my 550i in 12-15k miles. My wife drives the 550i, so normal driving, not performance etc.

I am up to 105k on my 2007 550i sport. Suspension still feels great, however given I plan on owning this car for a long time, when do the OEM shocks/struts typically need to be replaced?

yeah, had top down here in ATL a few weeks back...it was mid 60s. didnt take a pic, will next time. Expected 60s this weekend.

Anyone use a Fumoto valve on a 550i?

I will be changing the oil every 7,500 miles and thought this valve would come in handy. However, the 550i oil drain plug points DOWN...so it appears this valve would not work as the access cover...

Strange HVAC issue - dash vent unbalanced

Mine was blowing hard from defroster (fail save they told me) but cold air. This heater valve had rubber seals that failed with a metal plunger. It was a black plastic housing.
