It is the other way around: Without those codes your headlamps have full function. With those codes, most of the function are disabled. The codes are disabling codes.

Yes, my F10 has the Xenons and the Auto high beam. I have looked into it, and f30 owners have the same thing. Many f30 owners have coded their cars to enable all the features. It works great.
