I had the same hose go several years ago. Just replaced the hose and topped off coolant. I'm now on 230+K :-). Make sure you use the blue stuff. Can't be substituted!!!!!!!!

Hi all,
any ideas on how to tackle this? Is the water coming from the top (trunk lid seal) or is it been thrown up while driving on wet roads? I'm thinking the later but would appreciate some input....

Make sure you get a quality replacement. Cheap copies are trouble. I had fit issues and it failed a year later leaking again.

Check your navigation too. My MK4 suddenly started failing. Besides read errors it would just stay on all the time. Three days was enough to deplete the battery.
