Kendall synthetic Oil in 2004 BMW 525i

I advise you not to use Kendall in your BMW. I recently used Kendall synthetic on my last oil change because this local repair shop was running a special and I was low on time and the price was good....

@jetblack Ihad the identical problem with my 04 525i. There was a little over a liter of water in the battery module. I had to replace the PM module because the water shorted it. The dealer did it....

Alternator not chaarging

Its not the alternator. I had the same problem. This started after BMW service guys replaced a sensor in the trunk. Battery not charging and alternator only puts out 11 Volts. Tried 4 new alternators...

Replacing alternator on 2004 525i

Anyone with some ideas for removing the alternator on 2004 525i. I removed the top bolt quite easily, removed the air filter housing assembly. However, the bottome bolt has some kind of torx bolt....
