I've been running the PSS--very good and actually higher performance (in the dry) than the PS2s. Also better wear ratings....

Porsche and Chevrolet has the 7-speed manuals, with defeatable rev-matching. I'd say it's definitely a niche technology now but the state of the art is still (slowly) advancing.

@wilt: the true acid test of that statement is....does BMW's TSB suggest using a fuel additive or not? That is what CR is reporting, that BMW is saying this. Not that it would be effective (or not).

I've had my VCG and OFHG done. The valve cover gasket in particular was about to cause me problems -- I found a half-inch of oil at the bottom of my #5 spark plug hole.

50 HP extra at the flywheel would be 350...
