Yeah that site is a bit fussy about the IP addresses trying to access it...I sometimes have to use a different 3G Sim card to get through to it but it is a good site for Euro E30s.;)

The fuel pump does not run until the engine has started. The pin 86 on the fuel pump relay coil will get +12 volts on pin 86 at all times while the other side of the relay coil...pin 85...gets Ground...

I have never heard of an ignition shutdown relay or a starter relay for the E30s....unless USA models have them.

I personally have fitted a relay to my car to take up the job of the "start"...

If the car starts when pushed then the CPS etc. is in good shape....the only difference is moving the ignition switch to "start" would appear to drop some voltages to important components somewhere....
