I know it's after the horse is out of the barn but one should ALWAYS remove the FILL plug before draining the transmission, differential or transfer case (if equipped) - in any vehicle not just BMWs.

The button on the turn signal stalk is to cycle through time. temp etc. The button on the cruise control stalk is to return to the previous set speed after canceling cruise control.

Was a new thermostat installed? This looks okay for a correctly functioning cooling system. Cooling to 88 before closing and to 104 before opening indicates a sluggish thermostat.

CD music files have the *.cda format not *.wav so I doubt wav file would play. My '07 has a CD changer which will play mp3 files as well as cda files but the in-dash changer will only play cda files.
