Those diesels in Europe (at least the ones that were out when the E90's were being made) didn't have our auto-fail DEF tanks/pumps. Furthermore, the recall didn't extend the warranty like the HPFP...

In other words, block the EGR, have a scangauge tool ready to clear all the codes with each startup, and when smog check time comes, remove the block and clear the codes... :bawling:
