I would check the ground wires/cables. I've had this happen on a few of the cars/trucks I've owned over the years. They tend to corrode or lose contact from dirt, etc.

At 140000 on a 2005 2.5, the only things I repaired/replaced were routine stuff like brakes, filters, plugs etc. Somewhat not routine but not unexpected were Valve Cover Gasket and Oil Filter gasket...

I had it done at the dealer for around $250 including a complete check for leaks and other checks. Initial charge lasted until 100K+ miles. :thumbup:
