Ok, I'm embarrassed to admit, i somehow snagged the wrong ground wire and got the illumination wire instead of ground. DUR, that's what I get for wiring in the dark and using my cell phone flashlight...

Wow these are still going for like $13k+? That's how much I paid for mine 4 years ago haha. Awesome. Mine has pretty high milage though, I'm at 157k. But still running great!

also just take the plunge and buy a 32mm wrench...

also just take the plunge and buy a 32mm wrench and take the fan off.. reverse threaded and bang the wrench with a hammer a few times like an impact wrench, and that fan will come off in 39 seconds.....

Yesterday my car rolled over 150K, yesterday something didn't sound right..

I was looking forward to posting my cars 150K birthday all happy, because it's been running like a champ for the past 6 months!

And then, like clock work.. car rolls over 150K and BOOM same day.....

Appreciate the positive feedback everyone. The powder I used was Columbia Coatings. The finish really isnt rough at all, its pretty smooth it just looks wrinkled. (not glossy though, more matte)....
