i would power wash and soap/sponge it off. next time ur going on a trip like that spray and apply adams sealant on the whole front bumper. u'll be able to simply hose off the bugs when u return.

Rear License plate holes for bracket

Did your dealer drill holes for the rear plate? My cheap free dealer bracket didn't require any drilling. They popped in those 2 plastic holders at the back of the bracket into the 2 square holes....

I've done this a couple times in my 1st week of ownership. Thankfully I saw the lights were on too long then it hit me that I didn't turn off the engine. I don't have comfort access though.
