I use the MAXX from Walmart ( made by Johnson Controls ) . It is the exact same size as the BMW OEM battery it replaced . It has a 900...

Maybe just the motor. I have seen motors burn out when operated with almost discharged batteries . At low volts , you draw high amps which can fry the motor if the fuse does not blow.

That is the problem...., get the system emptied and refrigerant weighed at your local INDY. He can then install exactly the proper amount .

1) I installed a new AC compressor built in Japan.

2) I had the same shop that evacuated the system , refill the system...

Mine still passes State inspection , so I just cancel the code out about once a month .

Ticking is normally in valve train.

Get it looked at. And next time ( or engine) , consider using Mobil 1 0W40 .... It will help in case...

Do the one easy check to eliminate one possibility next:

Check your fuel pressure at the rail on top of the engine. It should read 55 psi plus.

You may be lean because of a failing fuel pump.

Replacement BMW ( dealer installed) lasted eight years

I have had excellent results with the Walmart Johnson controls MAXX...

2) a bad rubber hose to the caliper with a collapsed internal liner.

I have had both cause this symptom .
