I have a bunch of M5X thermostats laying around and I need one for my m42...

So my question is are these thermostats interchangeable between engines? I have two different temperatures, 88 degrees...

the winters in Vancouver are not particularly harsh anyways. once the roads are clear and dry there is literally no harm in driving any car in the winter. I just make sure its at least -8 or so,...

the only thing you need to keep out of the m54b30...

the only thing you need to keep out of the m54b30 is the rotating assembly. you can use the intake cam in your m52 but there are not substantial gains from doing so, and you have to use a custom tune...

got the rod bushings reamed for the new pins
installed the pistons...
