As far as the cooling system goes have you checked your water pump? Look in the weep hole and check to see if there is coolant in there, if there is the water pump is bad.

A lot of people have had this problem. I personally had this problem twice. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the CCC module ($1400) to replace. I was able to find a used one on eBay...
