I appreciate your advice...it may be sinking in. :) Another trusted Ferrari tech I know, also follows NGKs advice and never uses anti-seize either.

Bentley manual states "lightly lubricate new spark plug threads with copper-based anti-seize compound". But the NGK (oem plugs) website gives the opposite advice, stating their plating process...

Nice work. Make absolutely sure you seal up the vapor barrier well. The black butyl rubber seal must be heated up with a hairdryer and then run a wallpaper seam roller over it with lots of pressure...

I never used a torque wrench on spark plugs, as I never had a problem....I would just tighten until I felt the washer crush or yield, then a tad more and stop. But having read enough times of plugs...

I use copper anti-seize, but just a small dab...nothing carried away.

Interesting problem....I use my wipers constantly here in Seattle... ;) Never had noises or problems, air foils seem firmly attached. I did replace the frames a few years ago with Bosch E39...
