Brake fluid should be done every 2 years in these cars. They take DOT4 (high temp fluid) which has a 2 year lifespan. Other cars like Hondas and such take DOT3 which has a 3 year lifespan.

The cabin filter and engine air filter are incredibly easy to change. I use Mann filters for that. I get them from Amazon. 10 bucks for the engine filter. 17.50 for the cabin. Takes all of 10 minutes...

I'd guess that is when the transfer case is "kicking in". I bet you'd also get it if you were in a snow/ice slipping situation where power had to be transferred.

Well, if the diff is dead then yes. If not, then I don't see how. Changing the fluid is never a bad thing so you can't hurt it imo.
