The point for the floor jack to raise is the same place the jack stand uses, right? So how do I put the jack stand there when the floor jack is using it?

I noticed there is a bolt on left side of what I believe is the transmission and it is protruding downward. Is this a loose bolt or is it supposed to be half way screwed in?
