This is mainly for any Australian BMW owners wanting that 6 speed manual gearbox in their 5 series, it looks like it has M5 bits on it, perhaps even the M5 gearbox??, its rare, maybe 1 of 2 or 3 ...

Centre bearing was ok so i didn't replace it, it went back into position when you tighten the bolts to the flex disk, no preload required unless you replace it with a new one.

Lots of people like the M5 wheel used as a hanger, unfortunately this is the damaged wheel thanks to a pot hole....rather than throw it out i needed a new hanger so i thought "why not" :thumbup:

When putting it all back together i found out i could have used the slot in the bracket to get to the bolts and nuts...had i realised earlier on i would have left it on.
