75 K is not a lot for the stock clutch, especially if you don't track or beat on it. But stranger things have happened. Have you done any power upgrades? Added turbo or similar?

I have both, 2000 2.5 manual roadie and the 3.0 2001 auto coupe. Depends what you want it for. FOr me, the auto was needed, I do a lot of driving into NYC and traffic is NO fun with a manual....

The Bavarian elves tweak each years production, even if its the same motor. The Bentley Manual all the way. Its the best, and even then you should look for the BMW TIS for your specific issue.
