Many threads imply the DDE is at fault. Otherwise, you may have had a defective batch of injectors. Do you use "off brand" diesel or add additives by chance?

Dealers do have a choice of using aftermarket parts not from the OEM category as long as they comply with manufacturers specs. The warranty stays the same, usually 90 days to 2 years for their work....

Hard to say, but many think carbon buildup is inevitable and say fuel economy suffers first.

Do you have the sport package? The wider/summer wheels seem to decrease fuel economy by 1-2 mpg.
