We had an E70 4.8 sport with the 20s and the brutal ride quality...

We've had 2 X5s and now an X6 and I drive a 911. The BMWs handle better than their porsche equivalents (if you compare apples to apples) in the sense that the suspension settings are stiffer on BMWs...

I have a 2.8X3 loaner (4cyl). No sport pack. What a great chassis. The ride vs. handling balance is great. Engine is strong and smooth.

I zip tied the valve open as soon as we got home from the dealer (which only lasted a few hours before breaking).

It went from a 10/10 on the wimpy sound scale to a 8.5 with the valve open :dunno:...
