Maybe a local service station has a security camera some even catch traffic on the road. At least you could get a 'truck' number - or if they 'drove it' which seems unlikely sometimes they are...

start by

Recording the codes,
Then erase the codes
Then Reset the ECU,
Try again and see which codes resurface...
Compare and report back...

Same deal here...just make sure the 2 you loosened are the right 2...all I can think of...mine fell out almost after those were out too...if you're gonna whack it do it w a rubber mallet...

To the OP of course it is normal, you have a 3000lb+ car riding on springs with bushings...all rubber points that touch metal...

The belt only rides on a few points, something is wrong with one of them...find it and fix it. One is loose, grinds, wobbles. Could be bad waterpump, yes you changed it but it could have gone bad,...

IMHO if...

your car could hand it its 'ass' then something is wrong, at 200K doing a timing chain guide job should be expected or you are sitting on a time bomb. it can go at any minute...if you're gonna get it...

Sometimes there are tricks to get the compression up for a short period...Honing, +.01 rings but for a car you want to keep...boring is the only option...GL

#1 YES, a broken cam would not allow rotation of the cam and therefore would result in impact of valves and pistons...
#2 Most likely NOT if it was intact, if a cam goes bad, it will not lift the...

If you need that many parts you may want to consider a different car. The frt suspension is not the same, Engine is not the same, doubtful the seats, steeringwheel etc are either...in short sounds...
