That's it. It's more than a quick press, but less that 3 seconds. I would call it 1.5-2 seconds. If you go to 3, you get the alarm. I think this is great. I didn't see this in the manual...

I figured the title "Nav System" by itself is enough to cause some groans considering the number of threads there have been on BMW nav systems - so I was careful to specify it's about nav traffic....

Glad to hear others are having issues with this taking a while.

As of Tuesday the 13th, my dealer was saying that it was "still at port" and implied that it was a customs issue - not BMW.
