I run the mobil 1 oW-40 and follow the OCI indicator in the car. Have been for over 50,000 miles. Last to OCI's where at 16k and 18k. Both with a UAO that came back perfect. Fear not.

Again in general, the Ceramic has the advantage in a panic stop because of their more linear coeficient of friction characteristics. They are easier to design for as well.
