Having owned both an e39 with m62, and an e60 with the m54, i gotta agree. M62 is fairly simple (as is the s62 for that matter).

Only the m5 had 18"style 65 wheels.
In Canada, msport models mostly came with 17" style 66s. In the USA, iirc the only non m5 e39 with 18" wheels was the 2003 540i mtech with 18"...
