Be sure to have money or warranty on hand for the inevitable replacement of the connecting rod bearings. Love the E60 M5....it's the last TRUE bespoke M5 and not just a 550 with extra turbo boost...

Your transmission is probably fine...do a search for Injectors, HPFP (high pressure fuel pump). Likely one of the two (or both, HPFP is covered by warranty).
