Question 99 740iL -Bad steering shake at 50-60 and tranmission shifter problem

1999 bmw 740il
bad steering shake at 45-60 it goes away when i go over 60 and if i hit the brakes and it a pothole or somewhat the vibration is really bad what could the problem be i have 124000...

I am in the middle of changing the water pump on my grandfathers 740il 99 bmw and the pump is out but there is an aluminum ac line infront i think and i cant switch the pump do u have the take the...
