Low battery voltage will make the car act possessed. I got a battery tender this year and I haven't had to deal with the Frankenbimmer behavior.

I ended not only going for the full cable to shoe rebuild, I eventually needed the entire handbrake assembly.

Not the hardiest system in the car for sure.

I'm sure a M54B30 powered X5 would be a little less sporty in the acceleration department compared to an E39...unless you're running the 4.4. Then I pretty sure your 528 will be the one straining....

E39's are usually ignored at the meets unless they're mad slammed or modded heavily.

Everyone usually likes them. The just don't inspire much emotion due to a lack of wow factor.
