Take a look at all the posting's on here regarding gasket and o-ring failures on BMWs, IE. Coolant Tube, Valve Cover Gasket, Alternator plate, the list goes on. I would probably bet they were not...

Inpa > engine> n62 me 9
> F6 > shift +F2 > F3 > F9

Make sure you reset egs adaptation as well.
