OP, I would go 40 weight (10/40 for example) at least in terms of hot-side viscosity. Synth / no synth is your call. IMO the M20 has adequate filtration to be effective through the extended oil...

I'm pretty sure 80 is stock. If you are in a very hot climate like Arizona, you may want to keep the 75 unit as it will open sooner.

I didn't know Walbro was the only option. I never did upgrade the pump in my car - if i was at the track (HPDE, not competition), I would keep the tank at half full or more, which solved the problem.
