It sounds like the same problem. Both roof type sunroofs have very similar mechanisms and that same black plastic piece that is shown (broken) in the links above.

If your semi handy then fix it...

An alternative solution might be DEC's replacement cats and piping. Direct bolt on replacement, but it isn't cheap like cutting and welding in new converters. I am pretty sure that the '97 and '98...

Yes the A/C was on and there was a 12v feed to it. So I think it has power. Fan doesn't run though.



Pump is new with metal impeller called out in the coolant system overhaul post on this...
