If I had to pay 8k I would buy another car to drive around with and do the work on my 6er myself and take my time .
I have no warranty my car has 131k miles no company will give me a warranty!!!

I know the smell your talking about but it's not the burning oil smell! Also oil will burn blueish not white the smell is hard to describe.

Hi Herb I am not losing any coolant from my system. It's very weird only does it when it stands at idle for a maybe 5 minutes or more then after the first puff blows away its fine again no more smoke...

Don't rush to change things so fast .. Start small easy things first ...run the gas out and fill up at a different station than your last, throw some octane boost in as well..

Once you hear the system you probably won't even need a sub. only problem I see is getting to your fuses and battery if you needed to. Make sure you make it easy to take out in case of problems....
