Turns out I have water in the rear foot well area. Did not see it when I inspected the car, maybe the dealer was vacuuming it daily - who knows.

Has anyone retrofitted an E83 with the ski bag pass-through? I have it in my 325xi and I love it. I've seen people hacking their e46 seats to accommodate and it looks doable.
