The ball joints in the LCA's wear over time like any other part. The ball joints are already pressed into the LCA and you simply change the whole assembly as one unit.

When the wheel well liner got ripped off it easily could have taken out the wires going to one of the horns.

Check Real OEM to get the part number for the replacement.

I think it is the same size as the one on the oil pan drain bolt so if you have an extra oil filter kit sitting around use that for comparison.

How old is your battery? Have you had it tested? That is usually a sign of a battery that is on its way out.....when that started happening to me I changed the battery and it solved the problem.
