It was a garage queen and only driven in summer time when it 's nice out. Being a garage queen is one of the reason why it was sold. His wife want the space for her E70.

^Press and hold the unlock button on the key fob to lower the window. Now you can open the door using the inside handle, until you replace the carrier. No climbing, reaching or screwdriver needed.

You're right suspecting the halo (aka Angel Eyes rings) bulb. It's regarded as side light in the warning too. All facelift 04-06 E53 X5 has AE in the headlights....

Check fuel pressure to be sure. You might have to let a competent shop doing that.

Sound like you're just running low on coolant. Make sure to refill and bleed it correctly after you have done replacing parts.

This is the "aero kit" donor SAV, with transmission problem, for my 4.8iS.
Still a complete car at the moment. 201k miles. Transmission won't shift into 5th, and will trigger "Trans Failsafe Mode"...
