Connect it to the CCV hose port at the top/front...

Connect it to the CCV hose port at the top/front of the intake manifold (throttle body closed to check for intake leaks) But because you will have several valves open I don't think it will work well....

IMO-
It's a bit more complicated then that on these engines because of valvetronic operation, a wide open throttle body, pulsating CCV's, condensation and the condition of your air filter.

Any oil that makes it past the 1st brass filter...

Any oil that makes it past the 1st brass filter drops into the U trap. There hasn't been enough oil to justify removal of the trap to empty.
