Thanks. I ordered some a couple days ago and got it back together.

With an injector refresh, new gaskets and hoses, it seems to be running a bit better.

Check Engine Light (no codes?)

My check engine light keeps coming on randomly.

When i go to get the codes, it'll blink twice and then just keep the light on.

Anyone know what is going on with it? :dunno:

Engine and Head Casting Numbers questions

I have an 88 325 - thought i had the 2.7L M20 engine.

I've ordered two sets of intake gaskets and they are all too small. not sure that is going on.

My head casting number is:

But I buy cars, fix them and flip them. so mileage is always important to a potential buyer. unless I guess they are brain dead.

I've been noticing a fuel smell in the cabin and outside of the car.

I finally located the leak on Friday coming from the #6 injector.

I'm trading it in on a 2007 Toyota Sequoia.

Its been a good car, but with 3 kids now, they wouldn't fit on long road trips...

I was talking about accessories spinning freely. IE not binding. The pulleys have a slight drag since they are greased

I just replaced all three idler pulleys on my 2001 525. I still have a squeak from the front.

Any ideas. Everything seems to turn easily enough.:mad::dunno:

I think its probably a idler pulley on the front end. I'm not home right now, my wife was calling me about the noise. she says its not horribly loud, but she is concerned.
