What steps would you take as a Master Technician...

What steps would you take as a Master Technician if you were still with BMW for this issue? Is there something you don't have access to? Uplug the ESS and try starting it. Crank is strong?

I've done mine already but have too much "emergency" stuff in the trunk already. When I did mine I also pulled out the cooling fan per a DIY. Had to take off my bottom cover and all with the car...

Take it in and get it fixed. You're under CPO. Could be anything coil, plug, or fuel pump related. Too new for that stuff.

Doesn't sound like dying battery symptoms but I hope that is all it is. When mine went out (all of the sudden in one day last month) it just wouldn't start unless strongly jumpered by another car...

Did you just leak the oil around the oil cap or all over the front?

Very tough to call. All I can tell you is on mine I had oil leaking into my cylinders 3 and 4 due to a leaking valve cover...
