Upgraded subframe bushes don't squeak, it's the upgraded trailing arm bushes that squeak. Thats why you see many who have upgraded subframe, but few who did the trailing arms as well.

That tab is only for the M and faces rearwards. Unless you are upgrading to M or aftermarket sway bars then I would leave it the way it is. Just make sure you don't have any clearance issues.
