I'd think if the trans were slipping, you'd get a CEL flagging the unexpected input/output ratio. Is the exhaust system stock?? Can get alot of drone if the center resonator is removed.

Either the front or rear sensor has been worn through, meaning brake pads likely need replacing. The sensor will have to be replaced as well.

Replace spark plugs, dist cap & rotor. Test plug wires, make sure they're good. Make sure brakes/parking brake are not sticking. Make sure the torque converter is locking/unlocking properly....

Check realoem.com for exploded views and part numbers. You'll have to check pre-1993 for standards 850's; all the CSi's had 6spds, I think they are 1994+.
