I would buy it if the Carfax and service history are good. I did a similar thing, snatched up my 2007 in 2009 with 4K miles and now have 71k; the only thing to go unexpectedly so far was one ignition...

Mine was caused by my freon being way down(.3 lbs instead of 1.25). Evidently the pump first has trouble and then shuts itself off when there isn't enough. All is running well now for 100 bucks worth...

Hey-
I'm resurrecting this thread, I have this A/C noise too and it is gradually getting a little louder. It seems to come and go a bit, but seems like it gets louder when I drive longer. The sound...

The 328 GT is nice. I'm pretty sure it can't be configured in the US with a manual, so you are out of luck in that sense.
I'm single but I have an irrational love of wagons. I bought my used sedan...

My transfer case is leaking a bit, I need to take it in for like a 400 repair. That's my first x-drive related issue. I have 67k miles.

Hey, I was psyched when I upgraded my Miata to Halogens from sealed beams. Maybe I just haven't seen Paree yet when it comes to headlights.

Just buy a $12 bulb and there's no need to take it to the dealer. Once you have changed your own halogen bulb through that little door in the fender liner, you will have a priceless sense of...

It's a coupe with nav, worth a bit more. If you really want it, I would go up to near 15K on it.
Still around 1/3 the price of new!

In a 3 series wagon it has to work. That's the only way I carry my bike in my sedan, with the seat folded. It's tight but no problem.

It seems like a very consistent unevenness, not like intermittent missing.I still suspect cylinder(s) missing. I think I will rent a car for my trip tomorrow and try to sort it out later this week.

2007 65K miles 328xi running very rough

So I just started up my car after about three days leaving it alone. It idles very roughly and has less power. The unevenness lessens at higher speed, but I won't drive it above 25mph until I know...

Snows are awful to drive except in the snow, they feel squishy and squirmy on dry roads and have weak grip on wet roads. Unless you are really likely to get snow, there is NO performance benefit from...

Mine gets 17 in the city, but 29-30 if all highway. Are you sure you always got 24? My theory would be that the injectors were limiting the fuel to the cylinders and now you are normal.

Wow, you are a true car guy, R32 + 335i. My dream garage would have my current car as the AWD and something crazy like a Lotus Elise as the fun car. Still, your combo has merit!

Like you, I'm hoping for high resale of Montego Blue 328xi's! I think your projections are realistic, since the cars start in the high $30K range new and are nowhere near spent after 50-60K miles. As...
