Also look at your RPM needle when you turn on and off the AC, you should see a bump in the needle if the compressor kicks on while in park.

The bottom one is the correct style, iv never seen the top one before. I also have a '99 528i, check for frayed wires when your in there. Buy from a reputable seller.

No faults found, bba returned my unit with full refund ($98). I have the bifecta, ASC and ABS light on, not brake. I have tried the MM test but I don't think my readouts make sense.

Can you post a link? I'm having trouble finding the part on their site. Did you have to bleed the brake system afterwards? Did fluid run out with the sensor removed?
