Great posts. Has anyone tried fixing their center brake light? Mine went out years ago. I know they suffer the same fate as the sedans with frayed & cut wiring somewhere. I just haven't had a chance...

Do they really make a difference and why? I'm on a 5k oil change interval, and I'm burning about 3 quarts now between changes. No signs of leaks. 172k mi, 525it.

not sure if it always occurs for ambient temp. The only ding and flash I notice is when the temp outside is below/near freezing, the car dings/flashes the outside temp to warn of possible freezing...
