I think it is because the AC kicks in as soon as I push the on button, I believe this car has a single aux fan and it also serves to cool the AC evaporator.

The AC on my 2006 X5 starts acting up, it works very sporadically; however, one thing I'm sure of is that my blower is fine because I still get warm air when the air conditioning stops....

Just stiffer/harder when the car is at a standstill. My fluid level is okay so is tire pressure.
