Yes, I tried cleaning it twice. When I bought the car it was idling a bit high. I found a drilled piece of wood inside the hose that attaches to the icv. When i took it out it would idle up and down....

Got it! Thanks for the comments. I lightly pried it out and it was so hard that I was able to grab the edge with my pliers and pull out. Putting everything back together now.
